Professional Biographical Information (Education): Stephen Ralph is an Attorney (JD 1994), a Registered Professional Geologist (BS 1982) and a Degreed Petroleum Engineer (MSPE 1987).
Mr. Ralph was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar as an Attorney and Counselor at Law in 1994, and has been a Registered Professional Geologist (P.G. license status: active-retired) in the Commonwealth since 1995. His career includes over three decades of experience in oil and natural gas drilling, completions, and production operations. In addition, both as a Corporate Counsel and an Attorney in Private Practice, he has represented individual landowners and corporations in a variety of oil and gas matters.
Assisting in the Resolution and Settlement of Disputes
As an Oil and Gas Mediator, Attorney Steve Ralph has an in-depth understanding of a variety of Oil and Gas Mediation issues including:
- Oil and Gas lease interpretation, compliance, and royalty payment matters
- Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures, policies, practices, equipment and operations
- Industry contracts such as: Joint Operating Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Midstream & Gas Purchase Contracts
Mr. Ralph has been involved in cases as both a Plaintiff's and Defendant's representative in which Mediation played a critical role in facilitating settlements. As an Attorney, he understands the value of Mediation, which if successful can save the time, costs and the stress of litigation for the client.
